Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Syndication
Enterprise is one of the nation’s leading syndicators of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity for developing affordable housing. Enterprise has collaborated with the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) to include threshold and competitive points for meeting the Green Communities Criteria in their Qualified Allocation Plans (QAPs). Green Communities Grants
Enterprise offers two national grant rounds per year in which affordable housing developers may apply for grant funds up to $50,000 per project to support green planning and construction. Enterprise also offers Charrette Grants of up to $5,000 to assist housing developers with engaging in a serious discussion of green design possibilities. Enterprise New York supports local developers who apply for Green Communities Planning and Construction or Charrette grants.
Enterprise-NYSERDA Collaborative Grants
Enterprise has partnered with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to assist projects participating in NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program (MPP) that meet Enterprise’s Green Communities Criteria. Enterprise will provide grants of up to $25,000 in New York State to offset the soft costs associated with improving the energy and environmental performance of new construction and substantial rehabilitation projects.

HPD New Construction Grants
Enterprise and HPD have joined forces to build approximately 800 new green affordable homes on three sites in the Bronx. Enterprise will issue grants of $75,000 per project to developers awarded these sites through HPD’s RFP. Projects must participate in the NYSERDA Multifamily Performance Program and meet the Green Communities Criteria. Go to the HPD RFP.
