Trolley Square has created a manual, available in English and Spanish, that details a routine maintenance plan; instructions for all appliances, HVAC operation, water-system turnoffs, and more. It also explains the intent, benefits, use and maintenance of green building features and encourages additional green activities, such as recycling, gardening and use of healthy cleaning materials.
Practices that help sustain the building, the property and the green aspects of the whole development enhance resident health and support operational savings for years to come. To ensure that the building is truly successful and remains “green,” residents and the operations and maintenance staff must understand the green aspects of and maintenance practices for the building.
